The National Coalition Joins Forces With the Demand Diversity Roundtable to Release the “America 250: The Equal Opportunity & Democracy Guide to Civic Engagement!”

On March 18, NCBCP President Melanie Campbell joined other partners of the Demand Diversity Roundtable in Washington, DC, at the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy to release “America 250: The Equal Opportunity & Democracy Guide to Civic Engagement.(Equal Opportunity Guide).”

The Equal Opportunity Guide is a non-partisan civic education resource to help Americans navigate the current landscape of numerous democratic challenges. The nonpartisan Guide is designed to equip voters, community leaders, and civic organizations with values-based and action-oriented questions designed to illuminate how public officials and candidates should understand their constitutional responsibilities and how they should be held accountable.
